Distribution of 1000GEL worth vouchers for vocational education is underway

The registration of potential students of vocational education institutions continues. On March 23 First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Koka Sepherteladze and Minister of Health and Labor Zurab Tchiaberashvili visited vocational college “Ikarosi” and personally granted vouchers to brothers Davit and Konstantine from socially vulnerable family.

Volunteers willing to acquire vocational education are granted with vouchers in the amount of 1000GEL and opportunity to study at preferred educational institutions. Students from socially vulnerable families and active 9th and 12th graders who have decided to proceed with their education at vocational educational institutions will be fully financed by the Government.

The registration process is successfully carried out at 3 information centers throughout Georgia.

The state has allocated 7 000GEL for funding vocational education. This will enable 7 000 individuals to study, work, become professionals and get employed.
