Philippe Leforte, the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus, stated recently that there is active re-armament in the region, particularly in Armenia and Azerbaijan.

This could result in destabilization of the situation in Nagorno-Karabakh, with potentially catastrophic consequences not only for Armenia and Azerbaijan, but for Georgia and Turkey as well. If the conflict is unleashed militarily, it would be impossible to limit it locally, and other parties may involved themselves.
