Sevan Lake reservoir for irrigation waters in Armenia

On June 22, the Armenian parliament adopted the first hearing of the legislation permitting more water to be taken from Sevan Lake. This is due to the fact that there is a lack of water supplies from the rivers in Armenia for irrigating agricultural lands and there is no other alternative of covering water deficit.
