Kygyzstan’s three directions: Westernization, China and Islam

These three tendencies became evident in the central Asian Republic of Kyrgyzstan recently. Political analyst Zinadin Kurmanov stated that Kyrgyzstan has two processes– Westernization and Chinazation. On one hand, Kyrgyzstan established Western-style parliament but on the other hand, there are intensive economic expansions from China, as well as labor migration. In parallel with this they have also shown a tendency towards Islam as well.
