Tuesday, September 4In the first 8 months of 2012 Georgia was entered by nearly 2.8 million foreign visitors. This number is 55% more than last year. In August of this year, Georgia was entered by more than half a million visitors. Among the most common foreign visitors is Turkey, followed by Armenia, Azerbaijan, Russia and Iran. Independent analysts however, still express their doubts whether these are called tourists or if a large number from this figure are transport and transit entrances from outside Georgia.
