Armenia launches North-South motorway

In September this year Armenia launched a project and the construction of a motorway "North South". The project is estimated to cost $1 billion. Altogether its length is 586 km., half of this amount was allotted by the Asian Development Bank, the rest Armenia co- financed. It envisages the construction of a corridor from Iran's border to Georgia.
