Which Georgian Dream Coalition leaders would you like to see as a Speaker of Parliament?

Friday, October 5
“Frankly speaking I don't have any choice for the new Speaker of Parliament. Georgian Dream has a crisis in its staff and I can hardly envisage who will be appointed."
Maia, teacher, 41

“Well, there are a number of people whom I would like to see occupy this post like David Usupashvili, Irakli Alasania or Manana Kobakhidze. They are modest, smart and intelligent people. We should admit that the majority of people who are entering Parliament as part of the Georgian Dream coalition are not suitable for high ranking positions. For example: Sozar Subari, Kakha Kaladze, Zviad Dzidziguri, Koba Davitashvili or Tina Khidasheli.”
Sophie, MA student, 23

“I would like to see Manana Kobakhidze as Speaker. I think she would be appropriate for the position.”
Irakli, Editor, 27

“Well, to tell the truth I have not thought about this issue. I have no answer to the question…”
Teona, Language Specialist, 24

“I think that either Irakli Alasania or Zviad Dzidziguri. I cannot think of other candidates from the coalition.”
Nana, Student, 21

“I have no idea. Number one on Georgian Dream's party list was Kakha Kaladze and I would be shocked if an ex-footballer would become Speaker of Parliament. I think Ivanishvili has enough experience and knowledge to choose the best candidates for high ranking positions.”
Giorgi, IT Manager, 36
