Azeri internal and external priorities

The Azeri Sociological Research Center (ADAM) carried out polling countrywide. There were some interesting answers received. For instance, 41.9% of the respondents suggest the country will gain from cooperation with Europe and the US. 26.7% name Russia and the CIS as desirable partners for development. 7.4% named the Islamic world for that. Among the most popular friendly nations included Turkey, Georgia, Ukraine, Iran, the US and so on. Among unfriendly nations: Armenia is leading. Around 14% of respondents wish the country to be ruled according to Sharia rule, 57% are against.
