Armenian nuclear power station exploitation terms increased

The exploitation terms for Armenian nuclear power stations were extended for 10 more years. Armenia’s energy and natural resources minister Armen Movsisyan commented about it on October 18. This decision was made by the Armenian government because there are delays in construction of the new nuclear power station in Armenia. Under the current condition, Metsamor nuclear power station will have to stop functioning in 2016, so it will run for 10 years more.
