Visit of the Sicilian delegation of entrepreneurs

From November 27 until November 30, a delegation of Sicilian entrepreneurs from the agri-food sector visit Tbilisi. The delegation is led by Mr Leoluca Orlando, the Mayor of Palermo, Sicily’s capital.
In the framework of the visit, a presentation of Sicilian food products and B2B meetings was held at the Embassy on November 28. In addition to the Italian firms, the event was attended by more than 20 Georgian companies representing supermarket and grocery store retail chains, hotels and restaurant chains.
The event is embedded in one of the main events of the Embassy’s cultural programs for 2012 and in particular, within the celebrations of the XII edition of Italian Language Week Worldwide.
