Prospects of increasing GDP

According to economists in 2013 the Georgian GDP will grow up to 6% and GDP per capita will be more than 6500 lari. Economic growth will increase in the next few years and by 2016 GDP annual growth will reach 7%. Economist Elguja Mekvabishvili told Kvela Siakhle that Georgia has every chance of becoming a fully developed country in the coming decades but will need industrial growth to facilitate this.
