Russia stops Azeri oil transit through Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline

Russian Prime Minister Dimitri Medvedev signed a new order which considers that the agreement between Russia and Azerbaijan concerning the transit of Azeri oil from Baku to Novorossiysk via the pipeline has been terminated. The agreement has been functioning since 1996. There is still the possibility to recover the situation, but it needs extra negotiations.
