Since regaining its independence, Armenia has received around 3 billion USD investments from Russia; next comes France at 957 million USD, followed by Greece at 478 million USD. It is significant that the largest amount of money transfers to Armenia come from Russia, which is 3-4 billion USD. It should be mentioned that this money has been the major support for the local population. As a whole, the amount of money coming from the various EU member states is less than the amount coming from Russia.
