Since regaining its independence, Armenia has received around 3 billion USD investments from Russia; next comes France at 957 million USD, followed by Greece – at 478 million USD. It is significant that the largest amount of money transfers to Armenia come from Russia, which is 3-4 billion USD. It should be mentioned that this money has been the major support for the local population. As a whole, the amount of money coming from the various EU member states is less than the amount coming from Russia.
