Batumi hosts the 5th Night Serenades

A series of musical concerts known as the Night Serenades offer variety of musical pieces to the lovers of classical music at the new summer theatre in Batumi on August 24-29.

Lead by the famouse Georgian violinist and conductor, Liana Isakadze for years the Night Serenades were joined by International Orchestra Virtuosi of Facebook in 2011 uniting talented musicians from Georgia and abroad.

During the five-day concert the guests would have an opportunity to attend evenings of chamber and symphonic orchestra and listen to famous pieces of music of Mozart, Haydn, Shostakovich, Brahms, Vivaldi, Mendelssohn, and Beethoven with the participation of world known soloists and conductors like Justus Franz and Thomas Roesner; J.E. Gustafsson, Alexei Ljubimov, etc.

On September 3, the festival will move on the stage of Rustaveli Theatre in the capital Tbilisi where Isakadze and the Virtuosi of Facebook will offer the guests an interesting program in the frames of the international project Culture without the Borders.

This project is being carried out at around 40 countries worldwide under the umbrella of UNESCO. The project aims at strengthening peace among people by protecting cultural and art monuments, their preservation and development. It is supported by the world leaders of various times like the former US presidents Bill Clinton and Georgia, former president of France Nicolas Sarkozy, Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili, etc.

Concerts have been held with great success in Paris, Prague, Berlin, Washington, New York and others. Liana Isakadze is the permanent participant of the concert from Georgia.
