Military race in the South Caucasus

According to the Global Militarization Index 2013, Armenia is per capita the fourth most militarized country in the world, after Israel, Singapore and Russia. Azerbaijan is 8th. Georgia is 54th on the list. Georgia’s 2014 military budget is approximately $394 million, the same as it was in 2013.
