A heart-shaped lake in Georgia

The lake, which was (quite obviously) created and given shape by Mother Nature out of love for Georgian people, is located in one of Samegrelo region’s most picturesque corners.

From the foot of Egrisi mountain range, an amazing view of snow-covered peaks, emerald forests and a heart-shaped Kaliashi Lake opens up.

This lake is located at 2600m above sea level and is fed by snowfall, rainfall and underwater currents, which Georgia has plenty of. Just like the beautiful lakes of Tobavarchkhili, Kaliashi is a freshwater lake without any fish.

The shape of the lake, which occurred naturally, attracts many tourists, Georgian and foreign alike; many compare the view that opens from the lake’s location to a view of paradise. (georgianjournal.ge)
