Germany grateful to Georgian soldiers

The Foreign Ministry of Germany has released a special statement, where it thanked Georgian soldiers serving in Afghanistan for their major effort to repulse attack on the German Consulate in war-torn Mazar-i-Sharif city of Afghanistan on November 10. (more)

No Georgians affected

Georgia’s Ministry of Defense (MoD) reports that no Georgian soldiers were killed or injured during the blast inside Bagram airbase, the largest United States (US) military facility in Afghanistan, where a suicide bomber blew himself up at 5:30 a.m. on Saturday. (more)
