Georgia’s Economy Grows 5% From Jan-Oct

(TBILISI) -- Georgia economy grew 4.9 percent in the first 10 months of 2017, according to data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia (Geostat).

The estimated real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth rate amounted to 5.7 percent year-on-year in October.

Geostat announced that real GDP growth in October was recorded in the hospitality, manufacturing, trade and transport sectors, with construction and real estate seeing a sharp decline, according to the report.
