Paris Peace Forum Presentation in Tbilisi

Paris Peace Forum was presented with the support of the French Embassy in Georgia, at Rooms Hotel Tbilisi on July 17.

The presentation was delivered by the Secretary General of Paris Peace Forum Association Marc Reverdin.

Reverdin talked about the forum, participation and gave the details. He noted that some partnerships may be created after the forum and that one of the important processes is the responsibility of the forum to assist and accompany some projects that will have emerged and shall be implemented.

The meeting was attended by the Ambassador of France to Georgia, Pascal Meniethe former Public Defender, Ucha Nanuashvili and others.

A video was also presented which showed the French President Emmanuel Macron who invites movers and shakers of all countries to build a more cooperative and better-organized planet at the Paris Peace Forum on November 11-13.

In order to promote the governance project, the Paris Peace Forum gives a unique way to represent it and to develop one’s initiative. For the project to be selected between the 150 projects selected by the Committee, it is necessary to fill in the online application - parispeaceforum.org. The applications are accepted until 30 July.

The Paris Peace Forum will be a forum for discussion and debate with special emphasis on civil society initiatives, and for sharing experiences and innovative solutions involving all the stakeholders in governance including heads of State and Government leaders, local and national elected representatives, regional and international organizations, UN agencies, civil society in its broadest sense: companies, associations, NGOs, foundations, think tanks, media, trade unions, religious leaders, philanthropists, experts, etc.

The aim of the forum is to strengthen peace with world governance, which reduces international tensions and promotes cooperation of states in order to establish better communications and information exchange.

The forum features three interlinked areas where different activities will be carried out simultaneously: space for debates, solutions and innovations.
