Two Killed, 26 Injured in a Bus Carrying People from Georgia to Russia

Two were killed and 26 others received injures in a bus carrying passengers from Georgia to the Russian city of Krasnodar on August 19, after the bus crashed into a trailer in the Krasnodar region.

One of the killed individuals had the dual Russian-Georgian citizenship, while another was the Russian citizen.

Three injured individuals are Georgian citizens out of 26, the Georgia Foreign Ministry confirmed the same day.

“Their health condition is satisfactory,” the ministry reported.

Out of the 26 injured, only eight was hospitalised and the three Georgian citizens were among them, the Georgian Foreign Ministry stated.

The Russian media Tass.ru was the first which reported about the accident and said that out of the two individuals killed one was Russian and another Georgian citizen.

The media reported that the bus was carrying 40 passengers in total. Two were drivers.
