Chairman of the Georgian Dream, Mamuka Mdinaradze, held an introductory meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to Georgia, Ishizuka Hideki.

According to the press service of the Parliament of Georgia, the parties discussed the results of the exchange visits of Georgian and Japanese parliamentarians and aspects of future cooperation.

"Many positive experiences can be drawn from Japan. We are similar to each other in many ways - traditions, respect for the past, concern for the future, progressiveness, and the Ambassador said that he will spare no effort to share this positive experience in the implementation of projects in the economy, technology, medical and other fields. I expressed our gratitude for this promise. Naturally, the representatives of our various agencies will be involved in these projects with great pleasure and we will go to concrete results because we see how impressive the results in these areas are in Japan.

We invited the Japanese ambassador to participate in various formats, which he agreed to, and this positive relationship will naturally continue in the future. In general, very positive messages are coming from the ambassadors recently. Many good new ambassadors have arrived in Georgia; among them, we have very positive expectations regarding the ambassador of the United States of America, and we can say that a certain reset in this direction has a very positive character. Accordingly, our expectations become even more optimistic," noted Mdinaradze.
