"The most tragic incident occurred in the territory occupied by Russia near the village of Kirbali in the Gori municipality-a Georgian citizen was killed by a representative of the Russian occupation forces during an attempt to illegally arrest him.

Following this incident, all relevant mechanisms have been activated, and our international partners have been duly informed.

Efforts are actively underway to secure the prompt release of another Georgian citizen who has been unlawfully detained by the occupying forces.

We call on the international community to provide an appropriate assessment and response to the incident, and we urge the representatives of the occupation regime to collaborate with all parties in identifying and holding the culprit accountable," The Prime Minister stated.
